We are just a few short weeks away from welcoming our sweet little girl into the world (2 1/2 to be exact) and we could not be more excited!!! When we first moved to Anderson, one of the things I was MOST excited to do was turn this room into a nursery for our first little babe. We’ve been slowly adding furniture & decorations over the months… and this past weekend, we finally added all of the finishing touches!

Creating a room for our little girl was one of my very favorite house projects to date. I am so in love with the way the space turned out! I can not wait to spend my days in this room snuggling & rocking her to sleep, changing many (many!) diapers, and watching her grow through the years!

(If you scroll all the way to the bottom of the post, I tried to share where we got most of the furniture/decor that we used for her room. When I was searching for inspiration for the nursery, I hated seeing photos of pieces I loved but never being able to find them! Hopefully this will help someone who is decorating a nursery of their own!)

We found these adorable little dolls in the baby section at TJ Maxx! Erick loves them so much that every time we are in the store, he always makes sure to check if they have any others that we could add to our collection.

We *almost* didn’t get this chair for babe’s room… A nice, comfy rocker can be quite an investment! But, after adjusting our budget & deciding to save for special pieces like this one (& thanks to the Target registry completion discount!!) we were able to splurge. ๐Ÿ™‚ I am SO thankful we did… I sometimes sit in her room and get teary eyed imagining how special it’ll be to sit in this chair and rock our little girl (and alllll our future little babies!).

A special thanks to Charlotte Conklin Photography for our beautiful maternity photos – they fit perfectly in this room!

This bunny is extra special because my sweet momma embroidered her name on the ear!

Addie isn’t even here yet and she already has QUITE the bow collection…

We did our best to keep the room as neutral as possible, so in the future it can be transformed into a little boys room if needed! One of my favorite ways to make it a little more girly for Addilyn was adding all the gold accents & finding these books to display on the floating shelves. ๐Ÿ™‚

If anyone was curious… Finley loves the room too. ๐Ÿ˜‰
